Kids favourite protein pancakes

Equipment

  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 Frying pan

Ingredients
  

  • 2 bananas
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 1 tbsp Nutrilite kids complete superfood powder you can substitute with 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 scoop of plant protein or whey protein I will link you to my favourite ones in the notes section. All of them are chemical free which is really important in our family.
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract optional

Instructions
 

  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
  • Bring a slightly buttered pan to medium heat.
  • Use a ⅓ cup to scoop out pancake batter, drop batter onto the pan and when they start to bubble on the top, flip them.
  • Cook the other side as well, until golden brown and serve right away with your preferred toppings.
  • Enjoy them. 🙂

Notes

I like to use the superfood powder so my kids get healthy nutrients in the form of a pancake. The powder is so delicious anyway!
Medium size mixing bowl is probably enough unless you double the portion that I often do 🙂.
PS: My kids’ favourites are the strawberry and the chocolate ones. I sometimes add my collagen powder into the batter mix as well but that is completely optional.
